TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is available for purchase and is not included in your trip. In the event you incur additional costs for unforeseen circumstances such as illness, emergencies, medical evacuation, lost or stolen personal items - these would be your responsibility.

Why take a chance? Medical expenses in a foreign country can be very expensive - much more costly than purchasing a travel insurance policy*.

NOTE: It is recommended that you consider obtaining travel insurance as most employers' and individual medical insurance plans do not include coverage outside of the U.S.*

More reasons to consider purchasing a travel insurance policy:

  • Accidents can - and do - happen while traveling*.

  • A lost or stolen bag can ruin your trip*.

  • Trip Cancellation Coverage*: Only applies if you paid money for a portion of your trip. You don’t want to lose your money if you have to cancel your trip. In this case, you need to add Trip Cancellation to the policy if you want this coverage. Note that pre-existing conditions are not included in the policy.

Travel insurance will help with these situations, subject to some exclusions*.

Please see below for instructions about purchasing a travel insurance policy.

* Terms, conditions, and exclusions apply. Refer to the policy for full coverage details. Benefits/Coverage may vary by state, and sublimits may apply.
